In order to fulfill the bird's tail mission of attention to detail, we take each order very seriously. As each piece is handmade in the bird's tail studio, shipping can take longer than bigger chain stores.
Please allow at least three weeks for delivery of each purchase. We promise to ship your items as fast as we can!
When placing your order, please include all relevant address information (floor, suite, apartment #, etc). In the event you need an address correction, please contact us immediately (via email). Any orders that are re-directed due to an incomplete or incorrect address will be charged a $7 re-routing fee.
Bird's Tail Designs cannot be held responsible for orders that are deemed undeliverable. Unfortunately, customers will be held responsible for any returned shipment, which is equivalent to the original shipping cost.
If you would like to require a signature upon delivery, please leave a message in the comments section of your order.
Purchases over $100 ship free within the Continental U.S. Please use code FREESHIP100 at checkout. All other orders will be charged a $6 flat fee for shipping within the Continental US. For orders outside of the Continental US, international standard shipping rates apply.
bird's tail designs is not responsible for items lost in transit. We require shipping insurance at the customer’s expense for any bulk, wholesale, and international orders.

how do I return an item?
If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, or if you would like to exchange it, we will gladly process an exchange or refund the full amount paid (less shipping charges) within 7 days of customer receipt of the shipment except for special ordered pieces (custom orders, special sizing, different chain length, etc.). Please note that custom/special-orders are final sale.
For all returns and exchange inquiries, please email us at email@example.com first to request a Return Authorization (RA) number and return address.
Refunds or exchanges cannot be processed without an RA number.
Items must be returned with their original packaging in unused condition. Please send the returning merchandise with trackable shipping method and carrier insurance.
